ESA Trucks, Iłowa
Industrial · Iłowa, Poland
The site had solar panels and a hybrid heating system, but neither was working for the business. We made them work together and cut operating cost by 65%.

The brief
Although the building had a working solar installation, its output did not match the site's operating hours and energy needs. The hybrid heating system was inefficient and poorly controlled, and the site was paying charges for excess gas use.
What we did
Our engineers metered the site section by section and studied how it used energy over three months. We retuned the heat pumps, heating and ventilation, set automatic limits on gas and power use, and keep the site under daily watch. The analysis also made the case for a 200 kWh battery, which now lets the site rely less on the grid.
The outcome
Operating cost fell by around 65%. Charges for excess gas use have almost disappeared, solar generation now lines up with demand, and the investment paid back in 10 months.
